PAINTINGS AND DRAWINGS
My work is an exploration of religious archetypes, particularly the Divine Feminine or Goddess as it existed in the core of all world religions prior to the advent of Christianity and Islam. The Abrahamic religions suppressed this knowledge and stripped itself of magick and metaphysics. In the ancient Judaic, Egyptian, Gnostic, Greek, Roman, Hindu, and Northern European spiritual systems, the Goddess presented a balance in the psyche of the individual and represented a higher consciousness for civilization. My work is also an exploration of the body and its transcendent nature.
